Help answer the question about auto dialing software
How can you pinpoint which application is logging onto Internet?Recently my computer started logging itself onto the Internet. This happens frequently (many times per day) and doesn't seem to be at any particular or set times. I had done a few new things over the course of two days before this started happening. For instance I replaced MSN Messenger with Windows Live Messenger, I let Sun Java download and install an update and I downloaded and installed a small free Photo software from Shutterfly online photo services. Then this auto log-on thing started. I have blocked Windows Live Messenger (and MSN messenger), that Photo software and several other apps from loading on startup trying to stop it but to no avail. It is still happening and I have no idea how to pinpoint what the culprit is. In addition: Am I correct in assuming that if you disable an application from loading at startup it cannot connect to the Internet? Additional information on my setup: I have a local dial-up ISP with only one phone line in my house; it usually works for me. Help?

I swear by a program called Photosuite and Photosuite Platinum
They're excellent, fast to use and can affect quick overall enhancements, cropping and such, but can be used to do fine editing and repainting if you like.
It's extremely user friendly and worth the cost IMHO.
I've been using it for 6 years and have never found myself saying " Grrr I wish it could____"
