Conference
Language
The official Conference language is English. No concurrent translations will be available.
Letters of Invitation
The Congress will be pleased to send a letter of invitation to any individual making such a request. Please apply to the Secretary of PCS International, Ms. Jugna Shah at Jugna(at)nimitt.com. However, there is no commitment on the part of the Congress Organizing Committee to provide any financial support.
Badges
Each delegate will be given a name badge at the registration desk. All delegates are kindly requested to wear the badge throughout the Conference. Only badge-wearers will be admitted to the sessions and social events.
Certificate of Attendance
A Certificate of Attendance will be given to all participants.
Insurance
The Organizing Committee accepts no liability for personal injuries, or for loss or damage to property belonging to Conference delegates, either during, or as a result of the Conference. You are kindly requested to check the validity of your own insurance for this purpose before leaving for Portugal.
Participants with special requirements
The conference venues are properly equipped for participants physically challenged. In case you require special help, please let us know in advance.
Information regarding special diet requirements should also be communicated in advance.
Arriving in Lisbon
Airport Service
Lisboa International Airport, 7 km from the city centre, has daily flights to and from the major cities in Europe and the world. There are taxis (around 15 euros) and buses available to take you to the city centre. The Portuguese airlines TAP - Air Portugal and PGA - Portugália Airlines, as well as major international airlines, fly to and from Lisbon.
With your boarding ticket you can use AEROBUS. Please check its route and timetable at http://www.carristur.pt/turismo/en/1/0. There is a stop very close to Sana Lisboa and you’ll find other stops for hotels nearby the conference venue.

In the City
Currency
The Portuguese currency is the Euro.
Banking Facilities
Portugal has a national network of cash machines (ATMs) identified by the symbol MB (Multibanco), from which you can withdraw cash 24 hours a day.
You can exchange money at banks, which are open from 8.30 a.m. to 3 p.m. five working days a week; at bureaux de change; and at automatic currency exchange machines (these are for currency sale transactions only).
Credit Cards
In Portugal, the most commonly used credit cards are: Visa, American Express, Diners Club, Europay / MasterCard, JCB and Maestro.
Climate
In October the weather is generally sunny and temperate with average temperatures between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius. It would be a good idea to bring an umbrella in case of showers.
